My love affair with the creative arts began 28 years ago.
That was when I picked up my first crayon. Art class taught me to have fun with colours, while using them to create something beautiful and inspiring. My pictures improved with age as I absorbed new skills and techniques - both enriching and intriguing. Ten years ago, oil, watercolour and pencils gave way to Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Though I haven't left behind my art.
I wrote my first book at the age of 10. My mind was restless to capture a child's vivid imagination into words. Using my two creative abilities - to design and write, I would churn out comics by hand. Today, my understanding of the visual world and the written word is deeper. I realise that I never had to choose between the two - I would marry them to create stunning publications and collateral that would enraputre and communicate a message. And this is how I change the world. One step at a time.
